"The staff at Kings Arms Hotel were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which was definitely the highlight of the experience. The breakfast was also decent and provided a good start to the day. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself was disappointing. The room showed significant wear and tear, with damaged blinds that did not properly block the light, making it difficult to sleep. There were signs of poor maintenance throughout the room and bathroom, including mold/mildew in shower corners, worn fixtures, and general cleanliness issues around baseboards and door frames. The overall property feels dated and in need of refurbishment. While the staff did their best and were pleasant to deal with, the condition of the facilities did not match what we expected. With some much-needed maintenance and updates, this could be a much better place to stay. Would I stay again? Probably not, unless substantial improvements are made."

"After our first stay in Glascow, I was really worried about communication, but these folks were super duper! Never missed a beat communicating with me. Had a little trouble with the master bath toilet, but just had to reprime it a couple of times. They were willing to come take care of it right away, but I did some trouble shooting myself and worked it out. Its a ways out there and you wonder if that 5 miles down the road will ever land you somewhere, but it does. Well kept, great communication. I'm sure the price is reasonable, but I am just not used to paying that much for a place to stay, but I think everything in the Isle of Sky is a bit pricy. After my fiasco in Glascow, this place was a dream!"

"This cottage was a bit tricky to find, in spite of the detailed directions given to us, but well worth the moments of confusion. The cottage is very quaint, comfortable and has a wonderful view of the inlet. We really appreciated the list of nearby attractions and restaurants.It was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area - especially the Isle of Skye.Anna was very helpful and responsive."

"Beautiful house in such a picturesque location! Slept really well. Well catered for too. Just the kind of place to take your supplies & hunker down in. Rooms we're warm & cosy when the weather wasn't brilliant. The host was excellent and very helpful when we left something behind after our stay, they couldn'tof done enough. Property is exactly as described. Nearby cosy, friendly pub, a cafe in the Community centre, and a village shop. Ample parking for large car. Stunning views across the Sound of Sleet towards Skye. Right across the road from a shingle beach. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend "
