The hotel is lovely and historic. They have tea and coffee out in the lobby all the time along with some pastries. The breakfast was good and you can eat in the courtyard where the castle peacocks come to visit. At night they have a fire pit going. The staff was very helpful.

Great location at top of hill by the castle. Totally charming. Nice breakfast which goes til.noon. Don't stay here if you are not able to walk steep hills!

Fantastic hotel at the top of the mountain that is lavish. Beautiful rooms, wonderful comfortable shared space including lovely courtyard. Incredibly helpful staff. Only challenge is getting a cab to and from… but quite central and walkable to the Center of Old Lisbon.

Really enjoyed our stay, the peacocks were noisy and beautiful and we even enjoyed that! The hotel is beautiful and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful! A bit of a walk uphill if you come back with a taxi or Uber but nothing to complain about. We will be back soon!

The staff team was very good, professional and courteous. Our room (#3) was a corner room and looked out into the courtyard. It was comfortable, security was good, breakfast was very generous and most of all, it was a relaxing atmosphere.

Hotel was fantastic ! Arranged for pick up at airport and all went so smooth , greeted by Samira at the front desk with a big smile , the grounds , the room and the breakfast was wonderful ! Located by everything The peacocks outside added to the beauty ! I truly believe this is a winner !
