Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the marina. You're looking through the castle's crenelations, because you are in an old fort. Bathroom lighting is a bit much, but it's clean.
The location could not be better. The staff were universally competent and friendly, eager to please.
There is quite a large lobby with easy chairs, chess tables, books, and a bar that also serves food. Again, staff were excellent. Breakfast was first class.
In short a well-run, well-staffed, very pretty hotel in a perfect location.
Note: There is another Pestana hotel in Cascais which is very definitely not this one.
