Mixed feelings about this hotel..
Located on the top of one hill near the Castello, with access to Alfalfa area, easy to get down to it, harder to get back over too many steps. I wouldn’t drive, the streets ate too steep, too narrow.
The hotel is tidy, staff work their best to accommodate the guests comfortable stay,
However, I must mention to all of the travellers that the hotel’s pictures are deceiving, shows a lot of light, the big windows, access to the individual terraces or, at list, the overlooking terrace for the all guests. The terrace, where you could have a cup of coffee or glass of vino while enjoying the sunset is Not existing. You will have to step out of the hotel on the street across the hotel. The pictures on the hotel’s sight shows the suits on the last floor, the 4th one.They serve the decent breakfast on the first floor, that feels a bit crammed into the smaller area. I liked their table settings. Very clean and well arranged.
Our room was on the first floor, much is the second for North Americans. The windows were facing the street and the building across. You could hear every sound coming from underneath and there were a lot of them, as people are coming back after party or from work. The AC was very noisy, but it could not cover the street noises at night. I would recommend to book the room at the higher level or away from the street, if possible. The receptionist comp help us, as hotel is smaller and was fully booked.
