Wonderful pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Lack of room facilities. No kettle, iton, clothes rack for hanging wet swimming things. For a 4 star this would be expected. Its a fine hotel but dated and the the furntiture at pool needs an update/clean. Ashtrays werent emptied.

La struttura è in una posizione molto vicina al centro storico e al porto di Lipari. Ha una piscina e dei giardini meravigliosi. Le camere sono arredate in modo semplice ma pulite e silenziose. La chicca di Aktea sono il ristorante assolutamente squisito e il personale, cordiale e gentilissimo. Posso solo consigliare questo hotel a chi desidera rilassarsi nella bellissima isola. Grazie mille!

Enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights, nice big pool and big rooms. One downside is that there is no manual adjustment for the air conditioning - it is done centrally. Also the parasols around the pool are immovable and therefore can’t adjust based on the sun. Easy reach to Lipari town and port, location is great.

We had an excellent visit- the staff were very helpful. They picked us up from the ferry, had beach towels available, and even packed us a breakfast bag for our early ferry. Breakfast was plentiful, rooms were nice and the whole hotel is very clean and beautiful.

Excellent séjour en famille

L'hôtel est très bien équipé pour un séjour en famille. L'hôtel peu paraître loin de la plage et du centre ville. Mais l'hôtel met a disposition des navettes (gratuite) qui vous emmènera a votre convenance à la plage (conoto) ou au port (trajet qui se fait toutefois très bien à pied - accès rapide par jardin de l'hôtel) Je recommande.

Ho trascorso una settimana con due bambini piccoli in quadrupla vicino alla piscina;ottima struttura e stanza confortevole e pulita;personale disponibile e attento (un grazie particolare a Christian e Alessandra: sempre professionali e gentili) ;il ristorante è di ottima qualità con prezzi nella media;il paese e il porto sono a cinque minuti a piedi;la piscina molto bella ed è il punto forte dell’hotel;consiglio vivamente questa struttura

Family holiday

Initial impressions positive - we were collected at the ferry port by the minibus and taken to the hotel. The pool was lovely, with a smaller inset shallow pool the children could use. Only disappointing this for us, as a family with small children, was the restaurant opening times (opened at 20:00), which was far too late for our preschoolers. Other than that the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and despite being fully occupied never felt crowded or busy. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with swing seats and sitting areas outside.
