Declining standards

Spa & Gym were closed for repairs, clogged drains in bathroom. Declining standards evident throughout - damaged rugs, lightbulbs needed replacing, scuff marks on doors and walls. Good food and reasonably comfortable room but nothing exceptional.

The hotel is located within 4 minute walk to bus stops and to the city center. The breakfast and afternoon fika are great. The dinner is okay and there is plenty of salad and soup to keep hunger at bay. The room was clean. When checking in, the hotel staff informed us that the keycards were not working due to a system malfunction, but this issue was fixed the following Monday morning. The hotel lobby is a relaxing and welcoming place, and there is free coffee available throughout the day!

I booked this room 2 months ago, paid almost €400 aand I’m a frequent visitor at BestWestern and I’m a gold member in Hotels.com. Therefore I would have expected something better than a dark room in the basement with shower one level down. After this visit I can’t recommend BestWestern to anyone!

En positiv övernattning, trevlig med fika och middag . Något som vi reagerade på var att det var VÄLDIGT halt att stå och duscha i badkaret och jag halkade till 2 ggr, det kunde vara bra med ett handtag att hålla sig i när man går i och ur.

Riesiges Familienzimmer, Abendessen inklusiv und sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ruhige Lage und doch nah der Stadt. Auch nach Gamla Linköping kommt man bequem zu Fuß.
