"Breakfast was nice. Room was adequate. Staff were nice too. Excellent location for ferry. I asked for a low floor as I cannot use an elevator but I can cope with 1 or 2 flights of stairs, however I didn’t realise low floors were in the basement so i had the lowest floor and many stairs to walk down and up again for restaurant/breakfast/ bar/ parking etc. my fault though, not the hotels. Would stay again."

"Amazing old 17th century palace recently renovated to extremely high standard. A beautiful building with very attentive staff. A good night's sleep in a very quiet room with amazing wooded ceiling One small gripe, you have to check in at another hotel down the road! Not a massive problem, but not so great if it's getting late and you're tired."

"Very large standard double room and very comfortable. We slept well. It could have done with more staff on the catering side. Slow service at the bar and breakfast. Reception staff excellent."

"Booked a night here as it was reasonably close to Santander where we were sailing into. It was easy to find. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner at the hotel which was excellent and a good breakfast. The gentleman on duty overnight at reception was especially helpful when we needed some assistance.We had a good stay and would happily use again"
