"The hotel was very nice. The pool would be considered quite small based on how many chairs they have out. I liked that they added extra chairs during the day but then was able to remove them for dinner service. Staff was very helpful and nice. The only thing that I would recommend to the hotel to change is the bed options. Their option is 2 twins or a queen, however this is not accurate. They have two twin beds in the room that are pushed together to make a queen. You can push or separate as needed. Even when pushed together, there is a gap in between and due to the nature of those beds, the mattresses often slides off the bottom. I would have preferred either stationary option of bed."

"Lovely hotel very close to Acropolis and Pantheon. Great plunge pool for a cool down at end of a day walking around Athens. All staff spoke excellent English, very friendly. Roof top restaurant is excellent, great views but also high London style prices, that said the quality of the food was also outstanding. Really good air con, and a very varied breakfast selection. It’s a 5 star hotel, and it lives up to its reputation."

"Rooms clean, have in room fridge and instant coffee. pool nice but they don’t really tell you the rules so if you grab a towel and sit down they make you feel like a criminal. I don’t mind waiting for the pool attendant to do it but make that clear. The 10 euro spend is fine. I didn’t love the check in process. You have to wait until exactly 3pm and when you ask about early check in they are not communicative that the rooms are ready so you kind of have to keep asking them even if you are sitting right in front of reception. All that said, it’s a nice property and very reasonable. Access to the main tourist sites is easy by subway about a 8min walk away. Would recommend."

"We stayed for five nights in July in a junior suite. The room was an excellent size and well equipped. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a large walk in shower which was great. The staff were also very helpful, especially Denis on the front desk who was extremely kind and welcoming. His recommendations for tours were really good. It was just a shame that there was a large party of students staying that week as they were quite noisy and tended to congregate around reception making it difficult to pass (they didn’t move even when asked!). However, the hotel is great value and includes a good breakfast and nice touches such as complimentary chocolates and hairdressing. One major drawback is that it doesn’t have a cafe or restaurant onsite to eat in the evening and there isn’t much choice nearby. But you can order food to be delivered to your room. The cleaning was slightly questionable - quite a few hairs which were not ours and on our last night we found an apple under the bed which had clearly been there for some time! Nevertheless we had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return again."
