We stayed here 10 years ago. We love the convenience of it being right in the heart of Ligonier. The front desk staff were excellent. We enjoyed our two adjoining king size suites and their location. It was quiet which we enjoyed. The beds and pillows were excellent and very comfortable! The air conditioning worked great inside the rooms.
With that said, there were a few things that were not so great. The website advertises their restaurant and bar, however we learned it has been closed since COVID. No one will care that you don’t have a restaurant in the hotel as there are plenty around. However, they WILL care that you advertise it as open and have a full menu for people to view. Just change the website! Deceiving folks makes it hard on the traveler who are making plans as well as the poor front desk staff that have to deal with complaints about the closed restaurant. Further, the pool had three different closing times posted. Again, no one will care when you close the pool just update your signs to reflect the current times so as to not confuse folks. The rooms appeared very clean however when we went to open the sofa beds, there were food and crumbs under the couch and in the couch cushions. Please take time to pull out the couch and clean under them as well as in the couch cushions. Also please take time to clean your pool. I had to scoop out bugs and bandaids my first time there and one hotel guest stated the pool looked like his car bumper. Covered with bugs.
