"The room was not what we wanted. It smelled like the old cooking oil they use at the restaurant on the premises. They put us on the second floor with old chairs to sit on outside. While sitting out on the walkway it smelled like human urine. The inside was dirty the table looks like it has not been cleaned ever. The pand and utensils gad grease on them aka dirty. We asked to be moved to a room that cost less and that was a no can do. ."

"This was the most moldy room I have ever entered. That being said, I've stayed in some pretty moldy and smelly rooms in Florida before. This was by far the worst. After a half hour of being in the room, my face started swelling up and I could audibly hear and feel my heart beating. I decided I could not stay here, and luckily even though it was late, I was able to catch an Uber to a much nicer hotel on Key Largo. "Our suite was lovely- roomy, clean, updated. Check in was off- site so inconvenient. Pool, beach, restaurant all nice but far from our building Restaurant was not open air From our room we only saw a sliver of the ocean- mostly saw overgrowth and other buildings"

"We were placed in a room far away from most things. The pool was a short walk away. The room was surface clean but not deep cleaned. There was a stain on the couch cushion when we made the pull out couch for our child. There wasn’t a vent in the bathroom and the bathroom was in between the two bedrooms without a window. Otherwise, everything was ok. We only stayed for 1 day. The staff was great!"

"I made a last minute reservation to stay just one night and found the room ready for me and staff very welcoming. All rooms are second floor level and there is no lift or elevator, but an excellent ramp makes it possible to wheel suitcases or a wheelchair to the room. The bedroom in my one-bed unit was also up a flight of stairs inside the unit. The unit itself was wonderful with a generous kitchen and living space, and a nice balcony overlooking the channel."

"Pool had tree debris every day. Could have been cleaner. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Suggest you look at expenses that are not disclosed when booking with Expedia. Resort fees added up quickly that were charged after check in. Room was not what we reserved on Expedia site."

"resort staff didn't explain amenities upon checking in. wasn't aware of daily activities without passing by one area that had free water. the lagoon and pool were great. would recommend the pool be open later. Donny was a great staff member to receive suggestions from. "

"Our original room did not have an ocean view. When we got there we decided we would like to upgrade. They were very helpful and we ended up with the most perfect room for our stay! Old Florida feel with all the modern convenience. Staff were wonderful! "

"Amazing spot right that will put you middle - ish in the keys. Amenities were great, and the staff was super friendly. My sister in law lives about 5 minutes up the road as well. I will 100% be staying here next time I'm in the area."
