"I recently stayed with my wife and let me tell you it was a gem of San Sebastian, next door to the Arima Spa. First of all we were upgraded to a higher floor and was amazing, good A/C spacious room and a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was soo good there are a lot of things to choose Jamon Iberico, smoked salmon, sorted of cheese and charcuterie, great coffee maker and a lot pastries, also a la carte eggs. There is an extra point of this Hotel is that there is a 1 minute walk bus station #28 to get to the last stop Boulevard (were you get off and walk). My advice just take the one across the nearby hotel. I will be staying here next time. Thanks!"

"Great location if you are looking for an affordable and practical alternative to staying in central San Sebastián. Pensión Beizama is in a quiet area of Astigarraga, with a bus stop about a 3-min walk away. Buses run regularly into Donostia/San Sebastián, passing the main bus station and continuing into the city centre, with a stop by Hotel María Cristina. I travelled alone and felt very safe in the area. The pension is above a small local bar/restaurant, which was very convenient for a quick breakfast and served good tortillas. They also serve meals, although I didn't try them. Within about a 5-min walk there are other local restaurants and places for pintxos, as well as small market and a bakery. I actually enjoyed being in a more residential area and seeing a bit of local life rather than staying right in the tourist centre. My room was clean with a small balcony. It was compact but perfectly functional. The bathroom was also small, but the shower area itself was spacious. This is a very simple, no-frills accommodation, and the price reflects that. There are three flights of stairs and no lift, and there is no AC. This wasn't a problem at all during my stay in the second half of September, when the temperature was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were both quick and straightforward. Juan is really friendly. Overall, a simple, clean and good-value place to stay, with very convenient public transport."

"Pamplona Eurostars hotel is about 1km from the old town and easy walk to and from. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We booked using Expedia a double room, which was confirmed in writing. When we arrived there were two single beds. It took two trips to reception to have the issue resolved, first I was told that was all they had and after I checked my emails and told them I would not have booked the hotel knowing two single beds would be the result they then had staff change the bed setup in the room, this should have been done initially. I was told that what you book on Expedia would not be relayed to the hotel (that seems ridiculous) The exterior of the hotel is dark and unwelcoming and the interior is better but lacked decoration and really no ambiance at all. The Bar doubles as the breakfast area and dining area, again very clean but spotlight on the tables should be off or redirected in the evening. Breakfast was good. Parking in the underground garage was no problem."

"Good size, well equipped clean rooms in a fairly unremarkable building. Being over 60 we struggled a bit with the online registration process but got there in the end. If you are looking for a budget option close to San Sebastián I would highly recommend this. Great coffee shop just across the road and up the hill as well."

"Good price and room, didn’t really use facilities. Reception helped organise taxi to San Sebastián. Approx 25-30 euro journey each way to old town. Small cafe and pastry shop located nearby was nice"

"Upscale hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were very comfortable. We had no trouble finding parking on the street close to the hotel."
