Historic building close to Leksand

We enjoyed our stay here - the building is lovely and historic, just outside town. As we arrived after 6pm check in was closed but the details were left on the desk. Breakfast was good, although the restaurant was closed in the evening. Paying was quite problematic if you don't have a Swedish bank account - had to transfer the balance on returning home!

Jag bodde på hotellet i en natt och blev tyvärr mycket besviken. Redan vid incheckningen märkte jag att tvn inte funkade, obemannad reception då ringde och en kock skickades att reparera tvn! Till sist fick jag byta rum till ett annat rum med fungerande tv. Dålig säng, varje gång man vände på sig det lät i hela hotellet...tur att Frukosten var ännu en besvikelse. Buffén var dåligt påfylld redan en timme efter öppning, de flesta fat gapade tomma och personalen hann inte fylla på. Det fanns kalla ägg, blöta pannkakor och gammalt bröd. Kaffet smakade bränt och det fanns knappt några rena bestick. För att vara ett hotell i den här prisklassen förväntar man sig betydligt bättre standard och hygien. Tyvärr kommer vi inte tillbaka.

Äldre standard på rummet. Checkade in kl 19, fick ett rum som hade genomgång via ett konferansrum, där 2 st hade genomgång inför ett möte dagen efter. Lite konstig lösning. Dusch i anslutning till rummet och risk att lösa ut bra dlarmet pga ångan från duschen. Det blev ett kort dusch. Annars bra info och frukost.
