"Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Would use again as it was an ideal stay near the theatre."

"Very small room. Old building that needs a lot of money to upgrade it. The staff changed our room from 2nd floor to a ground floor room due to a disability- so they were very helpful. There was free parking, a bar, restaurant ( continental breakfast) and plenty of original building features. The beds were clean and we had plenty of fresh towels. Good facilities for the price. "

"This hotel was in a great location (a 10 - 15 minute walk along the beach to the Harbour Arm) and was a delight all round. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a real highlight. "

"Sea view was perfect! Stunning views, great location, comfortable apartment and very funky furniture too. Would absolutely stay here again. Also loved Folkestone and explored the area a lot with walks, beach sauna, live music at the harbour arm, and the lovely silver screen cinema. Fabulous!"

"Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental but good selection and plenty of. Stayed in premium double room, which was clean but nothing was premium unfortunately. Flat pillows need throwing, bed you can feel the springs, furniture handles falling off when opening draws, shower towel rails broken, shower had no pressure just trickling out and running down the head. Furniture needs updating or fixing."

"Having seen other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised to see that whilst the main areas of the hotel look a little outdated and in need of renovation, our room was clean and we were given a sea-view room. However, the toilet did not flush at all and the shower did not work; we only discovered this as we were getting ready for check out. There also appeared to be a potential asbestos risk with the flaking textured coating on the ceiling of the wardrobe with cracks in the ceiling and dust and debris on the shelf."
