"Hotel Splendid was in a good location, we found parking in the residential streets less than 5 mins walk away. Sea view room was nice to have. Bedroom was good, nice linen and towels and comfy bed. Nice extras, kettle, tea biscuits and water. Bathroom was a little dated but was fine. Nice to have a heated radiator for wet clothes. Staff at reception were all friendly and helpful."

"Such a charming boutique hotel on the beach of West Riveria with restaurants and local shopping stalls all around."

"A wonderful hotel - exactly what we needed. A ‘retreat’ in the sense it was very well appointed with quality towels, products in the room, a great pool and additional area for jacuzzi, etc included in the price. The staff were excellent- mostly amazing women who anticipated your needs- eg drinks around the pool, and replenishing the breakfast buffet when needed.

"Formula villaggio semplicemente inconcepibile! P"

"If you’re over 70 and want an all-you-can-eat venue, this is your place. Don’t expect lawns or manicured gardens or any kind of class. It’s a place to eat as much as you can of rubbish food and cheap alcohol. Even the beach is rubbish. My real recommendation is to keep going across the bridge."
