Chalet in French Alps - Beautiful, quiet location

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au chalet Vif. Le chalet est très agréable, bien aménagé avec tout le nécessaire , propre et très bien situé au grand Bornand pour profiter de toutes les activités. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Ian. Un grand merci pour la gentille attention à notre arrivée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir "

"Excellent séjour dans cet authentique et spacieux chalet, très bien rénové et offrant un excellent niveau de confort et de prestations. Idéalement situé dans un environnement de chalets entre Le Grand-Bornand et le Chinaillon, il bénéficie d'un cadre calme et d'une magnifique vue sur les montagnes.Nous avons également apprécié la qualité de l'accueil et des échanges, aussi bien à notre arrivée qu'à notre départ. Le chalet est parfaitement conforme à la description et nous a permis de profiter pleinement de cette très belle région et de ses paysages grandioses.Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation !"

"Très bel résidence confortable, et adaptée pour les enfants de tout âge. Il y a une pataugeoire de 35cm à 32 degrés à côté de la piscine (qui n’est pas/peu visible sur la photos), en plus du jacuzzi/sauna/hammam. L’accès au village est rapide, avec une petite montée. Il y a aussi des chargeurs pour voiture électrique, 40ct/kwh"
PLEASANT TWO ROOMS IN THE CENTRE OF THE VILLAGE

"House was clean, mattress was comfortable. SUPER view of the mountains! The swimming pool is right below and easy to walk to. Easy to walk to gondola and grocery is very close also. Kitchen was stocked well, fridge and freezer was cold and ready for food to get put in. Dishwasher was nice and they had soap for it. Bedding was good, plenty of pillows and blankets. Shower had good amount of hot water to use, very nice! Large deck with chairs, table and laundry drying rack. Trash bins are close by. Overall comfortable, well lit place. I enjoyed my stay. My favorite part was the view of the mountains, it was absolutely magnificent. I could sit there for hours. A few things to knowNo wifiNo towelsIt is on top floor so lots of stairs. Parking space is extremely narrow. My berlingo van bearily fit and was quite concerned about my door being hit by car next to it but didn't seem to get any damage. There is farmers market on Monday and wednesday that will either block and make you stuck in parking or not allow you to return home and you have wait until it is finished and packed up to be able to access parking. You can Google and find out those times. The swimming pool does add noise if you are hanging at the house during pool hours i saw from other reviews. There is constant noise of water fountain at the pool even in the evening and swimming team starts about 7am so if the doors are open you will hear. But it is manageable for the ease of the location."

"We had a wonderful stay at L'Alpage. I loved the authenticity of the building and the common, beautiful and simple. The breakfast was wonderful and hosts were lovely. I was sorry to not catch their dinner but we were too busy enjoying the easy access to amazing hiking and cycling routes. I highly recommend and hope to visit again!"

"Great location, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, hearty breakfast. Located right next to the Nordic trails. Free bus to Le Grand Bornand centre stops right outside hotel. Nice mountain views. Would definitely visit again "
