What an Irish gem. Anyone staying around Belfast make the trip to Ballygally Castle. The entire stay was amazing with great spacious rooms and the best of views. A great beach for walking and such friendly people.
Amazing castle hotel. Most of the old structure is gone, but the staff, information plaques, and amenities make this hotel one of the best stays ever. The restaurant was amazing. The gardens, history of the tower, a stone’s throw from the beach, all make this place special and unique to any hotel around the world. They have 1 of 10 Game of Thrones doors, too. We had the privilege to see another at the Dark Hedges Hotel restaurant. And the staff was welcoming, helpful, fun to converse with, and truly professional.
This was an excellent property! The breakfast was great and I appreciate that everything was locally sourced. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer is that it’s not walkable to anything but the beach which was right out the front door. Not a lot of food options nearby. If you are needing food, the hotel bar and restaurant are your only options. Grams a take out only pizza place is a close drive. Very good and quick.
Amazing stop. Great location. Loved every minute. The only complaint was that we had an 11am Checkout but the front desk started calling our room several times at 10 and 10:30 asking about us leaving. Very strange.
Fantastic property to stay at. The superior double room was roomy with a spacious bathroom and lovely view of the ocean. Our evening meal in their dining room was beautiful.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
I had bigger expectations for this hotel.
On a positive note, the view is absolutely stunning. The exterior and the garden.
The room did not look like the images I saw. It was a bit of a let down.
I felt the woman on reception was dismissive and condescending to me.
I didn't get my room until after 4pm.
She told me my room was "almost ready" several times, which it wasn't. She even said she went to my room and the cleaning staff were in it.
If she was honest about the room's avail I could have used my time differently and gone out to explore as opposed to being led to believe it was minutes away and just sitting and waiting there.
I would just advise to be upfront about the delay so to not mislead your guests.
They got rooms for a bus tour before me I felt like an after thought.
The bartender in the lounge offered great service.
The property was lovely as was the beach behind the car park area. Convenient location for seeing Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede, and not far from Belfast.
The hotel was amazing, the ghosts room was fun if not a tight squeeze.
Food and drink are amazing, several local products.
Parking is opposite the hotel and from what I can see was safe
