Green lane to Gortlage. An exhilarating route on a bright day. This is the track shown climbing ahead in 701170, here beginning its descent to meet the Langtree Lake valley at Gortlage. The lower set of farm buildings is at Clements Hill in SS4617, with Priestacott above it.
Lane to Little Comfort. Little Comfort is the farm along the track which leads off to the right behind the hedge. The lane, which has come from Sandylane Cross, plunges down towards the Langtree Lake valley, which is off to the left. Seen from close to the point where 701046 was taken, looking across to the left of this scene.
