The hotel is a conversion from a very old house that's dark and a bit run down but the bar and restaurant are very nice. Overall very good value for money @ £85/night for double room and first rate 3 course meals from £17"

"This is a really nice little cottage with great views of Holy Island, the village is reasonably small but has a local co-op and local restaurants.The owners live just next door and are very friendly & helpful, the cottage has good sized bedrooms, a lounge area and spacious well equipped kitchen complete with a table to sit at. The only small downside to the property is the fact that the bathroom is downstairs at the front so in the middle of the night you have to go down the stairs, through the kitchen and lounge to get to the toilet. This is unfortunately a constraint of the building but the owners have done what they can to assist by installing plugin night lights to guide the way (very helpful).Ample off road parking for a large car available and only 20mins from the ferry terminal.All in all I would definitely book this cottage again."
