Spring has arrived! The lake and beach are open and the canoes and kayaks are ready to go on the lake! Our beach and lakes are OPEN in Riverbend. ALL local stores, restaurants and grocery store are OPEN. Nearby Ski resorts are still OPEN! All nearby mountain towns including, Asheville and Biltmore Estate (open), Tryon, Saluda, Hendersonville, Columbus, Rutherfordton and Forest City a We are not yet able to get to part of Chimney Rock - estimated date for Chimney Rock is May 2025. While the big lake, Lake Lure, remains under repair it remains a breathtaking backdrop for relaxation.

NEWLY BUILT - --SANDPIPER TOO-- Beautiful luxury log cabin with 3 full bathrooms/ 3 large master bedroom suites and
a 4th open bedroom with game room/ 2nd living room and log bunk bed set and queen sofa sleeper, all surrounded by a wrap- around, fully enclosed deck with seating and log swing. Lower level has French doors in bedroom and door in game room out to the lower deck with hot tub. Walking distance to waterfall, private beach, lakes and river.
Sleeps up to 12, 10 in beds with air mattress available to sleep up to 12.

Private and serene but 10 minutes from lake and riverside dining Minutes away from town of Chirmney Rock! Asheville and Hendersonville also nearby and offer great shopping/ dining/ activities as well!
Riverbends' private beach at Mirror Lake has a fishing pier, a large pavillion overlooking the lake with rocking chairs and picnic tables as well as barbeque pits and beautiful mountain views (bathrooms also). Our canoes and kayaks are stored near the beach/lake. Walk across the road from the beach to the Broad River (with a waterfall and small rapids (perfect for tubing!). Enjoy fishing from the pier, swimming in the lake or playing in the river!
Western North Carolina has so much to do! From Lake Lure beach which offers the Lake with a beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains and a childrens play area with water slide, lifeguards on duty! Lake Lure was voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the country by National Geographic.
There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt putt, tennis, horseback riding, a gem mine, hiking at Chimney Rock Park , zip lining, lake side and river side dining, white water rafting and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville and Biltmore Estate and Winery, Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville, wineries, including our newest one in Chimney Rock ,Burntshirt Vineyard, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Carowinds Amusement Park, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arboretum and so much more. Also, nearby, newly built Tryon International Horse Equestrian Center. It is 15 miles away and has many restaurants and activities. Wintertime, visit nearby ski slopes and snow tubing. We are centrally located to many different activities!
Riverbend is only minutes away from beautiful Lake Lure , Chimney Rock State Park. and Chimney Rock Village and the Flowering Bridge.
The large 4-bedroom cabin is up on a hill surrounded by huge decks with seating including rocking chairs, chairs, a hand-crafted log picnic table and a charcoal grill. The lower deck has a large hot tub. The driveway is up a hill with parking for 3 to 4 cars. Additional parking at bottom of the driveway across the road.
