"Great location right on the lake. There are two fire pits, with plenty of tables, chairs, and lounges. The dock is convenient. The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained. The staff were overall helpful and friendly. The A/C worked well. The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. We did have some plumbing/water pressure issues. We were at the end of a hall and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was waffles, bagels, and muffins. So if you’re avoiding carbs or gluten, you’ll want to go to one of the many local restaurants."

"Absolutely wonderful! We cannot say enough about how amazing this motel is. It’s perfectly located right on the water with amazing views from every single room! The room itself was spotless, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable. They provide everything you could possibly need, including high-quality shampoo and amenities. There are plenty of towels and extra touches that make the stay perfect. We will definitely be back!"

"This place was a solid 3 stars, and I mean that in the best way. Expectations were low, based on past reviews but my LARGE family took a chance and we were not disappointed. We stayed for 4 nights and were a group of 17 people, 4 kids and 2 babies. The water park was endless fun for the older kids, and they ran back and forth to the lake and beach. It was a cute little town with a few great places to eat . breakfast provided was very basic, but not too bad. Waffles and cereal and bagels. We did need to do some of our own housekeeping - like getting our own towels and taking out our trash, but to be honest that wasn't a big deal. The only part I'd caution about is a weird fact that the entire town loses power often. Our first night of our stay the power and water cut off from 4am-noon. The locals say it happens a lot. All in all, I'd definitely go back- its just an hour away from Traverse City and made day trips easy. When we didn't feel like doing anything, the chairs on the beach and the cool lakeside kayaks and paddle boards were perfect. The kids all rated it the best family vacay we've been on. Enough said."

"Well maintained property fronting on a nice small lake with small private sand beach. Ideal for families with kids. Pontoon boats on docks block view of the lake on first floor units, but not a deal breaker. The check in procedure needs a bit of work, but it all worked out, would definitely stay again. Fish dinner at restaurant right down the street is to die for!"
