I recommend this hotel. Rooms and amenities very clean. Outdoor Pool is big and beautiful. Quiet area. Staff were very polite and kind. Felt like home.

The guest house and property were kept immaculately clean and comfortable the ladies who kept the building and our rooms clean, did so efficiently and with pride, they were also very helpful and super efficient keeping the rooms immaculate. The rooms were large and comfortable the bed., also, very big and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony over looking the pool and the grounds around. The pool area was very quiet with lots of sunbeds and furniture. Our vacation was kept enjoyable and comfortable by the hard work of the manager and his team. I highly Recommend staying at the Aurora Sol and will do again if we come to this part of Portugal again.

This place is just spectacular. Firstly Rui is the kindest and most hardworking person I ever met. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived early - he offered for us to relax by the pool while it was being cleaned. When we got to our room - it was spotless. The property is not in Lagos- it’s in a village called Luz. It quite cute with the best Chinese restaurant nearby and a fantastic restaurant called Alloro. Great value for quality food.i do feel it would be helpful to have a car. The room has a fridge and an air conditioner that’s works well and is quiet. I had a balcony with a view of the pool. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely small hotel

Lovely place with good size rooms, parking and a wonderful swimming pool. It is better in real life than the pictures. No frills. Plenty of restaurants within 15 min walk, good Chinese food. Easy to drive into Lagos with free parking

The room and entire facility was spotless. I felt so relaxed and happy. Well maintained property. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Not too many tourist, just 11 minutes drive from Lagos. The entire area was great if you're looking for relaxation but also if you want to do sport and seek entertainment. Thank you Aurora-Sol for making our stay exceptional.

After a long semester in university for both of us, we really needed someplace to charge our batteries. Aurora Sol was the perfect place for us. The room was top quality, the pool area was also very good with beautiful flowers and plants for decorations. The staff treated us very well and it was sad to say goodbye, they were lovely people. We were also extremely satisfied with the room service and cleaning. The ladies that worked there really did a fantastic job. Overall this place is the perfect place to go with a fairly short journey to the city centre and the beach. Thanks for having us:) - Benjamin & Inger-Anne

Initially disappointed we were 6 km from Lagos but it could not have been better. Just as the pictures show. Extremely spotless, Rui, the owner always about whether to answer all kinds of questions, cleaning around the pool or opening the door.Room was large,bed the best, shower water temp and pressure perfect. Local bus across the street to go to Lagos, 1-2 km walk to town of Luz with fantastic restaurants, beach and bars. Parking free right beside the Aurora Soi hotel. There is no breakfast but coffee/tea, a little fridge for pastry / fruit to be enjoyed on the balcony or by the pool. Stayed for 3 nights in Sept ,would definitely stay again.

The place was really charming and the hosts very welcoming. The level of cleanliness was impeccable. Also, the outside access to the pool is really nice. I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. It was hard to leave because we really enjoyed our stay.
