"No words - just fond memories - stay here! The love, effort and attention to detail of the wonderful host couple is truly moving. The beautiful property could be a film set, located right across from a ferry crossing station on a stunning fjord.

"I needed to sleep a night close to Flam and decided to take the touristic train and stay here on my way to Oslo.
Beautiful hotel surrounded by mountains. Quiet, peaceful. Just beautiful.
They have a restaurant which offered a delicious buffet.
Very impressed. Definitely a spot for someone looking for tranquility. There is a trail too that can take you all the way to Flam.
From here you can take the train to Myrdal station (1 stop only 3 minutes) and change trains to Oslo. Very easy!"

"Staff was very helpful. Food was good. Property was a little dated and overall could do with some upgrades. Our curtains didn’t cover the entire window so room was light all night long. 2 of 3 lamps in the room as well as an extension cord didn’t work so there was limited opportunities to charge phone etc. ."
