The Cross Hotel

"This hotel is contemporary and spotlessly clean everywhere. The reception staff and the porter that showed me to my room were friendly and professional. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the quality of the food. My room was small as I expected but clean and tidy with a good shower pressure and shampoo and soap. The Aircon worked well and there were enough hangers in the closet. Although near the road after around 10pm I didn't hear any traffic noise at all. There is always room for improvement and a kettle and tea and coffee would be nice but was lacking. My only mild complaint is that I purposely booked a double room as I like to sleep on a double or king-size bed. However the bed was two single mattresses pushed together with a double sheet over them. This did impact my sleep somewhat but everything else was good so didn't take a star off. But it does need sorting as it is something you only usually see at seaside holiday hotels these days. All in all a good hotel and not too expensive for Rome with a good price/quality ratio."

"I am often going back and forth to the Tiburtina train station and I have NEVER noticed this hotel. When I arrived, I was super fascinated by its convenient location and how well the services provided made a long work day more bearable. The staff were wonderful and always had welcoming personalities. I absolutely enjoyed my stay!!"
