On the Atlantic side of the island, major points of interest and best known beaches are all about an hour drive through beautiful countryside and curvy roads.

Great spot. Easy access to the beach, a couple of feet away. The bungalow is simply furnished but has everything you need for a vacation. Some mosquitoes, but to be expected. Overall, great spot.

Staff was great especially Johon. Just no restaurant in hotel only a vending machine. Have to walk across street and up hill to go to restaurant

You can learn about the history of Tartane with a stop at Caravelle Lighthouse. Wander the seaside and beaches in the area.
Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Plage de l'Anse l'Étang during your trip to Tartane? While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.

Poor part of the island , nature is beautiful .
This is charming area, probably easiest to see most of it in a car. And Residence Goelette was cozy and fun—nice pool, and very friendly bartender at the hotel’s bar!
La Trinité is great if you want to visit Presq'Ile de la Caravelle, or if you want to have a very good home-made icecream. There are not that many restaurants in La Trinité itself.
There is nothing really to do in La Trinite, but it is a central location to reach destinations in the north and south of Martinique.
