Klein aber sehr gemütlich und familiär

Ein kleines, älteres hotel mit viel charm und einem tollen nicht ganz jungem besitzer, der es führt und einen sehr willkommen fühlen lässt. Gute küche! Schottisch, weil seine frau schottin ist/(war?), was ich noch nicht kannte, aber toll schmeckt. Man muss treppen steigen können!

Scotland in Vendée : exceptionnel !

Un établissement comme on n'en trouve plus : un vrai accueil, un décor traditionnel et exceptionnel. La salle de restaurant est un morceau d'Ecosse à elle seule, comme le propriétaire, avec une collection de bouteilles de whisky impressionnante ;-) Un personnel à la fois très pro et discret. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable.

Excellent petit hôtel de ville, atypique et magnifique dans le style écossais., des chambres à la salle de restauration. Un régal qui change des chaines d'hôtel aseptisées.

A very good hotel, reasonably priced.

This is a remarkable le little hotel. The room was large and the bed comfortable. It was quiet and restful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the evening meal I had was arguably the best teak I have ever eaten. I recommend it highly.

Charme anglais

Il faut aimer le coté vintage anglais . Si vous cherchez un hotel au design moderne c'est pas celui ci qu'il faut choisir à La Roche Sur Yon. Sinon l'accueil est bon et la chambre est propre. L'environnement calme malgré qu'on soit proche de la gare.

A découvrir

Très agréable séjour. La chambre est propre, la literie confortable, l'hotel et les environs très calmes (L'hotel est idéalement situé face à la gare), le personnel est prévenant et très attentionné, la wi-fi passe bien y compris au deuxième étage. Attention pas d'ascenseur, ça peut avoir son importance pour certain (mais on m'a gentiment et spontanément descendu ma valise dans l'escalier) Oui la déco est un peu "vieillotte" mais pour ma part c'est justement en regardant les photos que j'ai opté pour cet hotel. Et je me suis félicitée de mon choix à l'arrivée, en comparant la facade de l'Hotel Marie-Stuart, joliment végétale avec sa terrasse conviviale au Campanile lisse, propre et impersonnel d'en face. Mon séjour fut hélas bref, mais je note soigneusement cette adresse pour un éventuel prochain séjour à La Roche sur Yon.

Personnel accueillant - ne mérite pas 3 étoiles

La façade de l'hôtel ne manque pas de charme, les personnes qui le gèrent sont accueillantes et disponibles. Petit-déjeuner simple mais avec des produits de qualité. Le confort de la chambre ne correspond cependant pas aux standards d'un 3 étoiles : meubles défraîchis, salle de bain à porte vitrée, sèche-cheveux à demander à la réception, pas de porte-serviettes ni de savon pour les mains dans la salle de bain...

L'établissement est vieillot, manque certainement d'hygiène rigoureux, le petit déjeuner n'est pas folichon. Un bon coup de frais ferait du bien à cette établissement car très original et atypique, on se croirait en Angleterre. Le personnel reste très accueillant.
