This was an absolutely fabulous place to stay for many reasons. The breakfast is excellent and if you get it included in your room, it’s an extraordinary value. The staff are wonderful and always seem to have a smile for you. The front desk staff, especially Astin, are helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need.
The grounds are impeccable. They keep them very well groomed and it’s an absolute joy to walk around to see the tropical plants, birds and little lizards and how beautiful they keep their property. It feels like a true tropical oasis. After a great day of fun activities, you always get to come back to a fabulous full-size pool that is extremely clean and very comfortable to sit in the sun just to relax.
The location just outside of the downtown is absolutely perfect. you get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle but it’s a six minute walk to all of the restaurants and bars and wonderful downtown of La Fortuna.
If you want the perfect location to be very close to all of the excursions and fun you can have, this is the place. A five minute drive to the zip lines, 3 to 4 minutes and you can go sloth hunting, 20 minutes to the volcano park and 25 minutes to the hanging bridges. You couldn’t ask for a better location.
My wife and I enjoyed our six nights at Arenal country Inn so much we know we will be back
