The staff was excellent and very accommodating from the beginning. I loved how peaceful it was surrounded by nature. The breakfast was good and the pool was a good size with good privacy. I recommend you book your tours with them, thy will help and offer a discount.

All Staff were friendly and breakfast daily was local food that tasted fresh and delicious! I do not like beans and rice but it tasted good with the fresh vegetables and natural juices on top. Bungalow are comfortable too!

Room was clean, beautiful property, convenient location. Beds were not very comfortable, pretty hard, but overall fine. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. Note that washer/dryer is advertised but that is incorrect, they send out the laundry for a price and it returns next day. Daily breakfast was always very good. Would have liked to have coffee in the room and there was no option to have coffee if you don’t make the breakfast hours (unless purchased from front desk)

This was an absolutely fabulous place to stay for many reasons. The breakfast is excellent and if you get it included in your room, it’s an extraordinary value. The staff are wonderful and always seem to have a smile for you. The front desk staff, especially Astin, are helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. The grounds are impeccable. They keep them very well groomed and it’s an absolute joy to walk around to see the tropical plants, birds and little lizards and how beautiful they keep their property. It feels like a true tropical oasis. After a great day of fun activities, you always get to come back to a fabulous full-size pool that is extremely clean and very comfortable to sit in the sun just to relax. The location just outside of the downtown is absolutely perfect. you get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle but it’s a six minute walk to all of the restaurants and bars and wonderful downtown of La Fortuna. If you want the perfect location to be very close to all of the excursions and fun you can have, this is the place. A five minute drive to the zip lines, 3 to 4 minutes and you can go sloth hunting, 20 minutes to the volcano park and 25 minutes to the hanging bridges. You couldn’t ask for a better location. My wife and I enjoyed our six nights at Arenal country Inn so much we know we will be back Thanks for making it a perfectly experience

We stayed 7 nights. The property is nice and clean, close to everything, healthy breakfast, nice staff. The reason I leave 4 stars is that there are NO LAUNDRY FACILITIES on site. You can get this service for an additional charge or you can search for other options outside the property.

The Arenal Country Inn was a wonderful place to stay! It is conveniently located to the town and the room was very comfortable! It could use a few more hooks to hang clothes and someplace to put suitcases instead of the floor. But overall the room did meet our needs and held our family of four nicely. I would request to have the bottles for body wash and hand wash filled up since we ran out of body wash and it was never filled. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it daily for 8 days! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They helped us book a tour and it worked out beautifully! The restaurant next door delivers and we got to enjoy pizza next to the pool. La Fortuna was great and this place is very conveniently located and having breakfast each day really helped us make the most of each day there !!
