This place is great especially if you are a fan of Soviet nostalgia. It is a grand old hotel built when Comrade Stalin controlled this part of the world but other than the careful restoration, there is nothing Soviet about this place. Super helpful staff, great access to the city, and fully renovated rooms and bathrooms!
The location is excellent. The view is unbeatable. It’s right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of everything. However, the breakfast is very simple and the internet is poor.
Still, I will always stay at Ukraina.
The staff was helpful and very friendly. The hotel is a little dated but well maintained. The food and service in the restaurant are excellent are reasonably priced!
I recommend staying here
Great location, with views. Near city center, shops, and walking distance to historic cathedrals. Super clean, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom area. Purchase the breakfasts here…fabulous!
I would like extend my stay with hotels.com but they switched off reservations from hotel.com and asked me almost double price around 60 euros which is not worth.Hotel is in good location.

It’s old property was probably built during the Stalin era. The location is great being right on shopping area. Metro is close and although much is a furniture should be remodeled. It does bring you back in time as you walk through the hotel lights are off during the day and kind of dark hallways.
