"The location was terrific, right in the heart of Argostoli. We could walk everywhere. The rooftop terrace bar had great views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The shower stall is very small, but that's not unusual in European hotels. Check in was less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options available."

"I had a one night stay in Argostoli as part of a longer trip. The Alley Hotel was absolutely adorable. The staff was friendly and patient. The rooms are so unique and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The breakfast was DELICIOUS. The fresh baked veggies were my favorite part. The Greeks know how to cook eggplant! All in all I was very pleased with my stay and experience. I would stay here again. "Absolutely loved our stay at the panorama Fanari suites the staff are superb and NOTHING is too much trouble the place is immaculate and the breakfast is lovely Detemriou handles all the car hire from Ionian cars and he is family along with the 2 ladies that run the place If you are travelling to Kefalonia you must consider staying here . We are fortunate enough to have travelled extensively and this rates as one of the best"

"I really liked this place, don't believe the negative reviews. Yes it's on a hill, therefore you get stunning views. If you are fit, it's no problem, especially at night it's an easy walk down to the restaurants on the main strip in Lassi. The pool area is stunning with very comfortable loungers. The water is a bit cold, but welcome on a hot day. The pool bar is very expensive compared to everywhere else. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious with a comfortable bed....

"Great location across from the beach. Pool area is relaxing, spotless and plenty of sun beds. Breakfast is standard buffet, no full english but did for us just fine with a decent selection daily. Aircon in room, included in price, worked a treat and was much needed! Nice stroll up the strip at night with lots of places to eat. Our room was lovely with a stunning sea view, they have all you could need ... mostly ... ladies who need a hair dryer would be best taking your own. There is one but...

"We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. The grounds were well kept and spacious, the pool was perfect for cooling down and there were staff regularly cleaning the pool,...

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself is in a stunning location overlooking the beachfront and has many restaurants surrounded by it giving more options for trying local food spots. We went in May so the hotel wasn’t too busy but even when it started to get busy, staff were still very attentive to every detail, especially when it came to breakfast! "

"Sami Beach was excellent. Quite a long drive from the airport but well worth it. The views from the hotel both out to sea and inland over the forests and mountain are wonderful. The hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Sami is the best town on this lovely island. Quiet out of season but lots to see and do, and great food. "
