"Entering the courtyard from the street did it. There was nothing that could take away from this property. The courtyard lined with vegetation, the views of the mountains and the sea, along with the table for two next to the entrance, spoke true culture. Breakfast and coffee overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is ultra-relaxing. I can retire and live out my days there. "

"We stayed at Marcos Rooms for one night while revisiting Santorini, 10 years after spending our honeymoon on the island. We arrived before the check-in time and were welcomed by the lady who we believe is the owner. She was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage and come back later. "We had a great stay at Black Rock Villas. They were quick to respond when we had any questions or concerns. The hot tub was a nice perk and we used it a little, it wasn’t hot but wasn’t cold. About 7-10 minute walk to the bus station in Karterados and not too far from Fira either. A little added bonus what’s that Sofia arranged a traditional breakfast from where she is from, it was very thoughtful and yummy."

"The view from the private balcony was truly magnificent, both at sunset and during the day, and it made us feel really special. Our host, Timis, the porter, and the room service staff were all very kind and provided excellent service. It would have been even better if the amenities had included a knife and cutting board, but overall, the experience was fantastic."
