"Our host, Maurice, was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us tips on what to explore in town. We were in a great location close to shopping, pubs, restaurants Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, even "the couch"."

"Great new place. Several things they need to update: -place to hang jackets/coats -small fridgerator -sign down low outside on the building. Couldn't even find the front door for 10min. They needed a sign on the North side of the building. Google maps brings you to the north side and there's no clear sign anywhere. Its only high up on the West side."

"Loved the Ballyroe, great location travelling through Co. Kerry and Tralee. Amazing views from the hotel, lots of parking and a great included breakfast! Rooms were large and had everything you need, comfy beds and clean bathrooms and very quiet in the area! We usually need AC in our rooms but it was comfortable all the same and highly recommend. "

Breakfast was great - with a good selection of both hot and cold foods. Plenty of parking on site. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved our stay so much we decided to stay another night."

"Clean rooms, staff was terrific, able to communicate via whatsap which was so convenient. Breakfast was good. Only pain point, we went for dinner in one restaurant followed by lunch the next day in another and the menus were identical. If we had known that we would have left the property. Daily soup also repeated so there was very minimal variety."

"Great place. It has real feel of being remote and away from it all. If you’re missing your pets at home they have friendly house cats and a gorgeous black Lab named Dub. Horses graze either side and sheep are across the road. Worth noting I had a sea view from my room. Have to add, they have the best and most helpful staff. Will stay again "

"I really enjoyed the breakfast and the in house bar. The room was charming and slightly dated, but no big deal. The staff were excellent and delightful. My big complaint was that this hotel is next to a church. And in the AM the bells rang out at 3 different times. I know the hotel can't fix this, but it might have been better if it wasnt a surprise."

"We stayed three nights in May 2026 and would highly recommend Murphy’s Farmhouse. Comfortable and very clean with lots of parking space. Great location for exploring Dingle. Two pubs within easy walking distance. Mary and Eileen are great hosts with a friendly and helpful staff."

"Paid an outrageous amount (it was a long weekend) for what seemed like a 2 star hotel. Beds not comfy and hoards of people running down the hallways yelling and banging on doors all night long. Barely slept. It was our worst stay in Ireland and don't recommend it. I asked the front desk for a reduced rate because we were woken up every hour in the night with people yelling in the hallways and they said "a manager would get back to me" That never happened. Very disappointing. They clearly need...

"Incredible room and view. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast spread included in room price. Accessible walk into town which took 25-30mins. They took the time to show us their birds of prey even though it’s off season and not usually open. Overall would recommend. "
