"What a gem! We were looking for something cozy, close to the beach, private, and affordable and this checked all boxes and knocked it out of the park. It's definitely cozy - perfect for a couple but I wouldn't recommend bringing your whole family - and has everything you could need. The easy walking distance to the beach was expected, but the short walk to an abundance of restaurants was an unexpected bonus. Diana was very friendly and made sure check-in had gone smoothly. Nothing went wrong, but I'm sure if I'd needed to reach out for anything she would have been very responsive. We hope to come back during a sunnier week sometime!"

"The location was amazing!!! Can’t beat a beachfront property! Private access to the beach, just over the dune. The house had everything we needed, including sheets and towels which was a very nice perk, less to pack! Our dog loved it too and was able to hangout on the deck with the gate locked. Would not hesitate to recommend Shugafoot for your next OBX vacation!"

"This house was a great space for our family of 8. We loved the pool. The grassy area was great for our dog and it was an easy neighborhood to walk in. The house had everything we needed and the owners were excellent with communicating."

"This place was clean and probably the most organized kitchen I've seen for a beach rental. This place is very kid friendly with more than enough beach toys, plus toys for the house. The host was very responsive and on top of things. The master bedroom wasn’t the most private, but we made it work. The view and walk to the beach was also great."
