"This place is rated a 8.0 a worth it. You know how you judge a room? By how soft the towels were - and they were 10.0s! That said, this place is cheap, available, and has a good rating - and worthy of it - it has a ton of family oriented stuff (a grill, basketball hoop, grassy area for the kids, other games, etc.). The room was nice (and big) and clean - nothing fancy. The bathroom was good - good shower pressure. The A/C was hit or miss trying to operate - but I think I figured it out. Great place to stay for a night or two - in a good location. Thanks again."

Camp Richardson Historic Resort

"We love Camp Richardson! It's a no frills place that is safe and clean. Easy access to the beach, excellent breakfast at the general store, nice little ice cream shop with huge portions across the road. The only downfall there is no air conditioning. The week we stayed in Tahoe, it was very warm. Even with all of the windows open and three fans running, it was uncomfortable, especially while trying to sleep. Our room was typically 80-84 degrees despite our efforts to cool the room down. Any other time of year, this probably wouldn't have been an issue."
