Beautifully Renovated Traditional Stone House in Vori, South Crete, Greece.

"Das Haus ist für zwei Personen schön geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Das Haus liegt ideal, zentral im Dorf und doch ruhig. Eine Taverne, ein Kaffee und kleiner Supermarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus liegt ideal, um Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Es war alles sehr sauber. Einmal die Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt und es gab frische Handtücher und frische Bettwäsche. Nadine, unsere Ansprechperson vor Ort, war jederzeit erreichbar und überaus hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und können das Haus weiterempfehlen."

"Wir hatten nach unserer Ankunft am Flughafen Kontakt mit Marcin aufgenommen (er ist sowas wie ein Hauswart) und als Treffpunkt die Apotheke in Kamilari ausgemacht. Von dort aus hat er uns zum Haus geleitet. Die Straße nach oben ist eine steile Schotterpiste und nur für geübte Autofahrer geeignet. Das Appartement liegt im Haus der Besitzer, die oben im Haus wohnen (waren während unseres Aufenthalts allerdings nicht da). Es ist ein kleines aber gut ausgestattetes Appartement. In der Küche war alles vorhanden außer einer Bratpfanne, die uns Marcin auf Nachfrage am nächsten Tag gleich brachte. Im Bad gibt es keine Lüftungsmöglichkeit. Man muss dann die Glastür öffnen und über das Schlafzimmer Luft hereinlassen. Der Kleiderschrank bietet ausreichend Platz. Handtücher/Duschtücher waren die in großer Menge vorhanden. Es ist empfehlenswert alles gegen Mücken mitzunehmen. Wir hatten einen Mückenstecker für drinnen, Mückenspiralen und Citronella-Kerzen für draußen. Die Aussicht von dort oben ist ein Traum. Man blickt auf das Dorf, die Olivenbäume und sogar auf das Meer. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass man in Hanglage wohnt und sollte gut zu Fuß sein. Das Dorf mit zahlreichen sehr guten Tavernen erreicht man in 10-15 Minuten. Der Pool bietet angenehme Abkühlung. Er wird von Marcin am frühen Morgen gereinigt, wenn alle noch schlafen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können dieses Appartement weiterempfehlen. Ausflugsempfehlungen: Matala, Rouvas-Schlucht, Phaistos"

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. However, there were some things that I think could be improved. Mainly, the bed was really uncomfortable, although beautiful and clean linen. Myself and my partner barely slept the whole time, it was like a slab of concrete. We had a a terrace with our apartment which was gorgeous and had amazing views of the surrounding landscape. If I were to be picky, it would be nice to have more comfortable seating up there. Air con works and was great. You do need a car if you intend to leave the village, the location for us was 10/10. Beautiful views and easy to get to other locations as long as you hire a car. We didn’t try to get any taxis so not sure how easy it would be to book. The amenities in the village were great, a shop within 100 yards and the restaurant is traditional with fantastic staff. Very reasonably priced, and they bent over backwards to look after us. The apartment itself is lovely, although basic. You cannot really cook there, although there is a kitchen, as there were literally no utensils. There is no kettle either. Be careful of hidden costs, the host text me halfway through the stay to advise we had to pay a €5 per day charge for a climate change resilience fee, this wasn’t in any of the information we had received before or during the stay - and we stayed in a different hotel on our last night and we were not asked to pay this. As I said, overall despite some flaws, we really loved the stay and would stay again."

"Wunderschön, einfach die richtige Unterkunft um zu entschleunigen.Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und hatte immer ein offenes Ohr. Der Pool und der Jacuzzi waren der Hit.Die Reinigungskraft war sehr ordentlich und charmant. Das nahegelegenen Dorf ist sehr ursprünglich und nur tagsüber von Touristen besucht. Wir haben es absolut genossen und kommen bald wieder .Absolute Empfehlung !"

"The room was modern and spacious, balconies with a sea & mountain view. The buffet breakfast was fresh, with hot & cold choices, great coffee! Staff superb. Guests friendly with kind hearts. My wife was surprised when two Dutch couples presented her with a small gift, singing Happy Birthday on her birthday. Parking on site. Close to all amenities. Shout out to Anna & Constantina."
