We actually changed our plans and checked in a day early. We chose the hotel for being pet friendly and having an outdoor pool. Upon check in we were informed the pool was closed for the weekend. The vending machine on our floor took our money and did not dispense our drinks. Told front desk whom was rude when I asked for a refund or if I could purchase a bottle of water. Waking up Saturday morning to let our dogs out, front desk clerk was us back to elevator demanding our room number and if we were aware of the pet policy. (Which we were). Later I had to check out and check back in due to our change of plans. I stood at the end of the front counter and watched the employee eat her breakfast and scroll her phone while I waited for help. 5+ minutes later she acknowledged I was there. Will definitely not be staying here in the future. As a rewards member, it’s not worth it. You can stay at the Marriot across the street for cheaper and better service.
