While one of the master bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room are located on the mid-level, the other bedrooms and a family room are upstairs on the top level. This thoughtful design is unlike many beach cottages in which the noise of night owls on the floor above can disturb guests, especially children, in the bedrooms below. From quartz countertops, slate finish appliances and a gas range in the kitchen; to the hardwood floors in the main living area, to its carpeted bedrooms and tiled bathrooms, Catching Rays is a harbor of luxury and comfort. A screened porch is perfect for relaxing in the morning sun or afternoon shade. There are multiple LCD TVs throughout the property and wireless internet access. A gas grill and convenient outdoor shower are located on the ground floor just outside the entry room.
As a vacation spot, Kill Devil Hills is ideal for the young, old and in-between. There's no end to the dining and entertainment choices, from family fare to rockin' night haunts, golf and go-karts to hang gliding and paddle-boarding, with lots of local treat shops and outlet stores. Nearby are tennis courts, playgrounds, a skate park, and a boat ramp on the Currituck Sound side. Also on the sound side are miles and miles of quiet streets and bike paths for riding or running. The property is only minutes from the towering Wright Brothers National Memorial surrounded by sprawling acres of natural landscape, great for walking or running, and is always a memorable place for a family outing.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
