"This hotel needs an upgrade. My room had a severe smell (mold). There were stains on the curtains, and in tub! Housekeeping did not come to my room to clean until the day of check out. Also we encountered a mouse running in our room. The front desk were very dismissive when notified. The location is perfect. The gym is the size of a closet. Only room for two people at at time. The pool water was cloudy and didn’t look safe to swim. Although the location is perfect I will not RETURN!"

"This hotel was hopping with guests. I figured maybe a cruise was departing. It was a crazy long walk to our room for 2 seniors."

"Great location in the middle of the French Quarter and easy access to lots of fun activities. Noisy outside late into the night. The rooms with balconies and windows on the front side of the hotel do not block the noisy people partying in the streets. Hotel had great vibes, it’s old and has a lot of great character."

"The hotel's beds and furniture were damaged and dirty. The door had a gap and it appeared to have been kicked in. The room had bugs. I observed the front desk manager trying to catch a cockroach with a sheet of paper while she had a line of guest. I definitely did not feel safe in this hotel."

"Front desk staff (Joseph) very helpful...room selection, with local restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on. Breakfast buffet the next morning simple and easy. Room was spacious and very comfortable and checkout a breeze. Highly recommend. DMN "
