"Unbelievable stay. One of the most scenic places on our entire trip. Our room which was of good size and adequate amenities had a patio that overlooked the pool, cypress trees, and the ocean. It was like being at an Italian villa waking up to that view every morning. The pool was also an incredible addition to the stay. The staff was so nice and helpful with everything. "We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "The pool area was beautifully landscaped with olive trees, gorgeous flowers, plants and an abundance of rosemary. We did feel a little disappointed the pool was within the hotel rather than facing out to sea. It gave the impression the hotel could be anywhere. Visitors need to be aware of the construction work below of a new, very large hotel. Only the roofs are visible fortunately, but there is some noise if you go to the nearest small beach. The restaurant was excellent on the few times...

The receptionist (South African not New Zealand) makes things happen, excels in her role, professional from the outset.
