Rustic retreat with panoramic views at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch
- Pu'u O Hoku Ranch offers a unique getaway for travelers seeking a rustic retreat. You can hike, swim, stargaze, and see a working ranch in action. Pu'u O Hoku is one of the few places in the islands where you can feel Hawaii as it once was. The Sunrise cottage is just a short drive from the black-sand beaches of Halawa Valley.
On the hill above the bustle of the ranch, surrounded by tropical gardens, with panoramic windows offering views over the bluffs to the ocean, the Sunrise Cottage is perfect for romantic getaways or small groups. Master bedroom with a queen bed, second bedroom with two twins, spacious living and dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a shaded lanai.
The Sunrise cottage was built in the 1930s in a classic Hawaiian ranch style, furnished with Balinese and Hawaiian wood and textiles. The cottage is off the grid and runs on renewable energy, the water onsite is from our well.
We can also deliver fresh biodynamic and organic produce as well as fresh beef and venison to your cottage for you to cook during your stay!
