Fun In The Sun #11

Fun in the sun is located less than 1/2 mile from beautiful Caddo Lake. Fun in the sun has 2 Full size beds, 1 twin size bed, 1 bathroom with a shower & bath tub. This room also has a dorm size refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker (2 coffee cups/ 2 maxwell house coffee packets, creamer & sugar). All bed linens & bath towels/wash cloths (one small bar of soap) are provided. NO SMOKING of ANY KIND in the room!!! ( There is a $100.00 room recovery fee to cover the cost of restoring room to a smoke-free condition) There is a boat launch less than 1/2 mile from this location. We have a covered grilling patio with a picnic table (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid & grilling utensils). Caddo lake is a 25,400-acre lake, you will never run out of memory making activities. Great fun and family time that would make you want to stay longer. Don't forget to bring your fishing pole & camera.

This was a lovely, quiet spot. Keith, the owner, was on site, helpful, friendly and welcoming. He offered us his picnic pavilion as shelter for our car when a hailstorm was predicted. He also gave us free use of kayaks on his second property down the road (near a cypress bayou.) This is not a luxury property, but it is clean and pleasant. Make sure you know how to get there in advance. GPS may send you the wrong way and wifi may be spotty.

The room smelled moldy. Hair in bath tub drain. Toilet ran all the time. SeTv never worked. BbQ Area was trashy
