This was a very clean and comfortable room. Its an older hotel, but it seems to have newly renovated rooms. Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence
The room, hotel surroundings, area for animals was nice. The room sheets were pretty good and bed was comfortable for the night. However they have a microwave, k cup coffee, and refrigerator in the room. We saw 2 roaches in the room so I think this area could use a little bit of attention.

Hotel Phillips Kansas City Curio Collection by Hilton
Good staff and the on sight restaurants and bar are nice. The beds are terrible. Probably the most uncomfortable hotel beds I have had in 20 years. Otherwise a good stay.
