This hideaway was delightful. Immaculately clean, super quiet, it was a lovely stay. It is a bit of a drive off the main road, but the endless views are unforgettable. No restaurant, but takeaway orders are easily fulfilled, and the dreamy pool makes it worth a longer stay.

Grand hills kandy a very comfortable, beautiful and stylish boutique hotel kandy with absolutely magnificent views out over the magnificent surrounding middle of the jungle... We were very well looked after by the very helpful staff who provided all that was needed, communication with manger was excellen.The property is on a hill and you can have an amazing view from the balcony overlooking the green mountains and the waterfalls, Food served at the restaurant was tasty. The breakfast buffet spread was huge. excellent location for visiting Kandy. it was a real pleasure to stay here one night was far too short a time and i would love to return. Highly recommended.❤️

This property is falsely advertised as a 4.5-star hotel; in reality, it falls far short of that standard. It is an old, converted house with dated furnishings, holes in window frames, and a leaking roof. While the staff are friendly—and Smith, in particular, was very persistent in his efforts to help us—the management fails on basic amenities. There was no daily housekeeping or spa as promised, and we were even locked out one day due to the lack of a 24-hour front desk. The food is only bearable, the location provides lovely view, but is an absolute inconvenience, being far removed from the main road.

We arrived on location 2 hours prior to check in from à long 5 hour drive. Our driver told us there were many traffic jams along the way so we were not sure about ETA. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were asked to wait in the lobby only to be told our room was not available as they had a group of people that would only come back in the evening so we were redirected to another - unsuitable- hotel for our specific needs. The hotel manager told us they they had already issued the refund for our stay but 10 days have passed and we are still waiting for our refund. Now the hotel claims à different story to avoid refunding us. This change in hotel was highly disruptive to our plans and we are still hoping for Expedia to help us resolve the matter.

Rummet var fint, utsikten är fin. Men så mycket med det här boendet stämmer inte överens med beskrivningen. Restaurang? Vi betalade 43 USD för en måltid där vi inte fick det vi beställde. Maten lagades inte i restaurangen utan smygdes in via TukTuk på beställning. Om ni väljer att stanna här på boendet, priset är väldigt bra eller liknande rekommenderar jag att ni tar er upp till ett närliggande hotell ni kan gå till. Det är både bättre mat och billigare. Wifi på 500 Mbit? Nej, vi kom upp i ungefär 1,5Mbit Beställa transport? Lättare sagt än gjort. Platsen hotellet ligger på ligger avsides och taxichaufförer vill inte gärna åka dit. Mer vatten till rummet? Det kostar extra. Städning på rummet efter dag ett? Nej. Spa och Yoga? Finns ingen information om det och jag misstänker att de kanske skulle kunna anordna transport till annan plats för det. Varm dusch? Nej, men personalen säger att det blir varmare om vi bara väntar (stod i en kall dusch i en kvart). Hade hotellet varit satt till att vara trestjärnigt hade dey kommit mer lindrigt undan, men även om det var det gör den inslussade maten att man känner sig lurad.

Rummet och utsikten fin. Hotellet ligger väldogt off, inga restauranger i närheten. Maten på hotellet var väldigt dålig, kall exempelvis och vi blev magsjuka dagen efter.
