"The setting of the hotel is gorgeous. The grounds and facilities are maintained to perfection. The rooms were abundantly spacious (we had several rooms in our group). The staff is extremely accommodating, like visiting old friends. The restaurant in the hotel had exceptional food in a beautiful setting. The beach is very private, with nice chairs and bamboo umbrellas. We have visited Greece on five occasions, and this was our favorite spot."

"There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel they are so sweet and everything was just as promised. It’s beautiful with a bunch of restaurants and shops at a walkable distance. The town is safe to walk in at night, even as two younger females traveling alone, there was never a time either of us felt uncomfortable. This was the best village in Naxos by far and will be dreaming of the day I get to go again! "

"Spent four days on Naxos and very much enjoyed our stay at The Grotta. The staff were great and very helpful, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our room was excellent and everything worked fine. While the location is not central and does require some rough walking to get into town, the views were good - especially the sunsets - and we had absolutely no issues getting around. We were very (very) grateful for the taxi transfers from the ferry to the hotel (and back again) - this...

"Es ist wirklich eine sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist super! Wirklich eine tolle Hotelempfehlung ! Was ein bisschen stört ist das es nur eine kleine Bucht zum schwimmen gibt, allerdings relativ ungepflegt. Wenn diese Bucht bzw. der kleine Strand jeden Tag sauber gemacht wird, wäre es noch besser und schöner. Störend ist ein bisschen der teilweise Autolärm der nahen Inselhauptstrasse . Fazit: Wir kommen bestimmt nochmals wieder!"

"Newly renovated, gem of a hotel, just steps off the ferry. The room was clean, sharp looking with everything you need. Shower was a delight, little balcony overlooking the port. Walk up the steps to iOS - 10mins, a 3min walk to the nearest beach with cafes, restaurants and mini supermarket right at the port. Highly recommend! "
