Enjoy the spectacular 'Green Flash' of our Kona Sunsets at a breezy elevation while nestled amongst fragrant fruit trees, colorful flowers and lush tropical foliage. Dine at your leisure on the expansive lanai with stunning panoramic ocean views.

Kona Hale offers brilliant Views, recessed Lighting, ample Towels, fresh Linens, a spacious Living Room and smart TV’s in every room.

After your fun-filled day of soaking up rays at one of the many warm sunny beaches along the famous Kona Coast, come home to relax and savor the local flavor of cool “Up Country” Hawaii living. Kona Hale provides the Spirit of Aloha in an immaculate and spacious turnkey retreat, complete with High-speed Internet, Laundry Facility and on-site Parking.

Please Note: Kona Hale is a 2 story home with each floor completely autonomous from one another, including a private front entrance leading into each floor. This listing is for the Garden level floor, located on the lower story. The home is elevated enough that both stories have a stunning view! All the photos you see in this listing, including the impressive view and patio, are in-fact, of the actual impressive Garden level unit. We had a lovely stay, the property is beautiful and very clean! Stunning views of the ocean and the laundry room was a massive bonus, especially as it is kitted out of its body boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs etc! A great stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Just an FYI, the toaster could do with being replaced but no complaints from us at all. Thanks for having us.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this home. It truly made the vacation. The space very clean, well appointed, and equipped with everything needed to make the stay easier. It also had a variety of recreational items that made going to the beach or anywhere on the island stress-free. All of that, combined with the views from the porch and the quiet neighborhood made the stay both cozy and relaxing. The photos of the space accurately reflect how amazing it is, and we felt it was a rare find among vacation homes. Can’t wait to come back sometime in the future.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay here! I was a little nervous about no AC but being up the mountain it was beautiful. When we lost power for a short time they immediately reached out to us to keep us informed. If I’m ever back on the big island again I will definitely stay here again. My nephew loved our friendly balcony geckos.

This place is amazing. Modern and beautiful. The lanai was amazing. Loved this beautiful place. We could hear the upstairs tenants walking around late at night, but that was minor. It’s like a rainforest getaway with beautiful views.

Everything was great!

Very clean! Perfect size for family of 4 to come back to and rest every evening after going out to explore the island every day. Very convenient to airport. Very relaxing front porch and very well stocked with all our needs. Great selection of beach chairs and swimming gear for us to use while staying as well! Highly, highly, highly recommend this place. Fantastic property!

Beautiful! Very clean, roomy, and inviting. Beds are super comfortable with top notch bedding. The closets are roomy and come with plenty of hangers. Large living area with great furnishings. The kitchen is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunset. Although beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and a little soft-sided cooler are available, chairs are older, one of the umbrellas was broken (which we didn't find out until trying to set it up on the beach), and the cooler was ripped. Boogie boards were great. Still, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week in Kona!

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at this property! The morning sunrises, and evening sunsets off the massive deck/porch were unbelievable.We stayed in the lower unit of the two - but didn’t even notice the upstairs neighbors. It was incredibly clean, newly renovated, and well equipped for us to cook dinners in when we weren’t out on the town. Not too far from town, not too far from our favourite beach. The host had also provided a lot of great beach equipment (snorkels, boards, umbrella, chairs) that we used almost on a daily basis.Only regret is that we didn’t book this for our entire trip. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re on the island.

Great Property!

Fit our families needs perfectly! Great view, host was very responsive, and the beach gear was a nice added bonus. We stayed in the lower level, it can get a little noisy depending who’s upstairs, but overall it wasn’t an issue for us.

Spectacular, exceeding all expectations

The unit was very airy, spacious and the view spectacular.No consideration for the experience seemed spared. Location was great, when hot days ran too hot on the coast, escaping to the rental was a fantastic cool down with vibrant sunsets. The kitchen was well supplied, bathroom too. We could not be more pleased.

Très bruyant!

Tout d’abord l’emplacement est bien pour visiter la région ouest de l’île. La décoration est magnifique et la cuisine très bien équipée. La terrasse est fort agréable, la vue est bien. Par contre, attention il y a deux unités. Nous avions celle du bas et nous pouvons vous garantir qu’il n’y a aucune insonorisation dans cet immeuble. Le bruit est très très intense malgré que les gens tentent de faire attention. Nous avons communiquer avec l'hôte, afin de lui faire part de la situation. Elle répond très rapidement, elle s'est excusée et nous a expliqué qu'il y avait des enfants et quand temps normal cela n'était pas autorisé.Donc, vu notre mécontentement elle voulais nous offrir un remboursement et que nous quittions le logement rapidement. Vu notre refus (nous étions la vieille de Noel avec nos enfants) elle a beaucoup insisté pour que nous quittions et nous avons ressenti une énorme pression.De plus, l'équipement de plage est vieux et usé (chaise/parasol).
