Wonderful home!

Our family of 4, including our 2 adult sons, loved our week here! The layout of the home was perfect for us. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars is because it's in a quiet neighborhood, which we loved, but if you are looking for a place where you can walk to the beach or shopping/restaurants, this is probably not what you need. Another bonus is that this house is managed by Kona Coast Vacations which provided a concierge service with wonderful suggestions/recs. Be sure to ask for David!

Location. Amenities. Views. This place has it all.

If you are looking into staying on the Big Island, stay in Kona. If you are staying in Kona, you must stay here. Perfect for our family of 6- plenty of room for everyone and the amenities were as good as anywhere we've stayed around the country booking through VRBO. The highlights include the pool of course, but also the cooking and grilling gear, plenty of beach supplies. This place is super clean, comfy bedding and spacious bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers!

“The Week to Remember”

Amazing vacation

First time in Hawaii and what a great experience. The house was beautiful, kids loved the pool and it was so easy to rent and the company was great. They checked in on us and it felt like a home away from home. Amazing! Would do it all over again.

Fantastic Family Vacation

As soon as we walked in the front door we were immediately thrilled with the home and ocean view. The sunsets were magnificent and the location was perfect. We had a rented car and were located about five minutes from downtown Kona. The neighborhood was especially beautiful. The house was immaculate and decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The outdoor pool was perfect. We also loved the large and extremely well equipped kitchen space. Every couple had their own room and bathroom which was really nice. When we did use the air conditioning it worked really well. We truly had a fantastic family vacation and absolutely loved this property.

Great place

Loved the house and the property management was fantastic. Had a couple issues: had to block off the ohana because of permit issues, refrigerator wasn’t working when we arrived and had some light bulbs burn out, but they were very helpful with all. The one negative I would say was that all the towels had a mildew smell... likely from sitting in the washer for too long wet. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, AC worked well, easy check in/check out. All in all we loved the house, the neighborhood, the location, the view and the friendly lizards that stopped by for a visit every night.

Perfect house to reconnect with family, but give more heat in outdoor spa

This was a great house to spend Spring Break. We didn't want to travel due to Covid restrictions, so we decided to stay on island and get a house in the warm Kona air. The house was perfect. Very roomy, clean, and bathrooms had enough towels - even beach towels. The home comes w/Shampoo and bar soap only. The kitchen had enough pots, etc. to prepare meals. However, the dishwasher needs to either be repaired or replaced. The racks do not roll in & out properly and it does not clean the dishes very well if you do not first clean the dishes prior to putting them in. The living room area is nice and open, but the furniture needs to be rearranged so that every seat can comfortably watch the television. No one sitting on the sofa could watch the TV comfortably - awkward position to TV. Please change this! The bedrooms were all sized enough to enjoy. I would, however, recommend that the master bath tub be anchored down and secured to floor to avoid accidents. Hopefully, you can find a tub position that can avoid the ceiling water falling on someone's head while reaching over tub to turn water on. Not a smart design. The outside guest bedroom offers a small kitchen and bathroom w/AC. A generous size bedroom that can easily fit a family of 4-5 (if allowed). Again, reconfigure the furniture, bed, with TV - awkward again! The biggest complaint I have about the home is the outdoor SPA. The heat is on from 6:15pm-7:30pm (we timed it) - THAT'S IT! The entire day the spa water is luke-warm at best. This was very disappointing especially since the pool is not heated. It would have been nice to be able to swim in pool and hop in spa to warm up. I understand that utilities are costly, but you need to come up with some heat timing throughout the day that will keep the spa at a comfortable heat setting. I'm sure it can be done and still be economical. The daily home rate should afford its guests a heated spa throughout the day and early evening. An hour is simply being CHEAP! Overall, we loved and enjoyed our time in this home and would rent again for another island staycation!

The rooms in this home are so comfortable and beautiful. Stellar ocean views. Everything a cook could ask for in a kitchen. Very high quality home and amenities. All of us wanted to stay forever. We did not use the attached ohana.

Beautiful home in peaceful neighborhood

We loved our 9 day stay in this home. The home is exactly like the pictures. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware. The A/C worked great. The pool and spa were so much fun!! The beautiful yard was great for the young kids to play on. I highly recommend this home!

Kona Heaven

Absolutely beautiful property. All the comforts of home. We were there for 6 nts/5 days and enjoyed every bit of it. If there wasn't an ocean or tons of activities on the island, we never would've left the house! The fabulous kitchen was loaded with the necessary tools to cook if you chose to (including a crock pot and rice cooker!) which was a huge bonus. The refrigerator is awesome. I will be on the hunt for it when I return home! VERY comfortable beds. The ohana room was very nice; no AC but we knew that when we booked so nothing I'm complaining about. We thought about picking up a portable cooler but it wasn't necessary since we were out and about all day and the nights were fine. Plenty of bathroom towel sets for the house (great bonus) along with lots of large pool towels (another great bonus). Everything was so new and clean; we didn't lack for a single thing. We rent homes/condos every year sometimes 2-3 times a year. This is definitely one to repeat when we return. We're a family that loves to play corn hole and found a set that we bought on the island. We left them behind for the next family to enjoy!!

Nicer than expected

This is an amazing property. The pictures, although beautiful, didn’t do it justice. It was centrally located to many activities, convenient to shopping and restaurants, yet quiet and private. A perfect location. The only possible improvement would be central A/C in the mother-in-law suite, as we were there during a hot week in June. Many thanks to owners and property manager for sharing this gorgeous home with our family. Mahalo

Beautiful home, perfect for family vacation

This was the perfect location for our family vacation. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable throughout. The kitchen is stocked with all the amenities to cook meals at home. Bathrooms have plenty of towels. Beach towels are provided along with some beach mats and umbrellas. We utilized the grill by cooking our catch of the day! We enjoyed the lanai, pool, spa, ocean view and the sunsets are AH-MAZING! 100% times better than a hotel especially with a group. Highly recommend. MIL unit could use portable A/C is only suggestion. We will definitely consider this home when we return to Kona.
