"The room was somewhat dated but it was clean enough for a 3-star hotel. The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast is mostly cereal and carbs, but it was nice to have hot coffee and some food before going to the Grand Canyon. In that case, the location can't be beat. The place is obviously full during popular time, but the activity and noise went on throughout the night and the walls and ceilings don't prevent much of the noise from waking you up. Be prepared to hear doors opening and slamming shut for those that get up at 5 am to get to the National Park early."

"The room was absolutely perfect. The staff was so kind and helpful. Didn't have to pay for laundry and got assistance with anything we needed whenever we needed it. Will be back next visit 🙂"

"The room is little shabby, with a stained bed sheet (looked like old stains that wasn’t taken care of properly),had to call the office and the cleaning sheets were brought to the room but we had to remake the bed. The room was cold with thin blanket only and heating could not be adjusted. Eventually, extra blankets were brought in. Staff was helpful, got clean sheets and blankets. The cafe opens at 7:00 am with a long line of people waiting, eager to have an early start for the park. I think it should open at 6 am instead. The breakfast is on the expensive side, a hot coffee and a small egg cheese sandwich is about $15.00. The park is spectacular with magnificent views! Clean, well maintained and organized, with free shuttles running often, very convenient for the visitors. The park is simply a must see. I hope I will be able to come to the park again, but I don’t think I will stay at Yavapai Lodge."

"We had a premium room and it was great. It has a very large bathroom, with an extra sink and vanity outside of the bathroom. The pools, yard games and s'mores every night were fun. It was a great way to relax after busy hiking days. Would definitely recommend for families! "

"Nice place, nice location. Great views. Pleasant staff. Rooms and facilities are a bit dated, considering the price. Disappointing that their policy is to only clean and make up our room one night out of the three we stayed. Disappointing that the pool kept closing for maintenance -- we were never able to access it."
