Amazing views. Small beach is great. If you plan to go further out, bring beach shoes as it gets rocky/coral reefy. Room was basic but functional and clean. Be sure and check your vehicle in at the kiosk at the front desk if arriving after hours. Short drive to Kaanapali beaches and attractions.

Can't beat Maui

The location is perfect. The view is the best for the price. We have stayed at Valley Isle many times. The weather was perfect, 1 hour of mist and 3 weeks of 85 degrees and sunny. The unit was very outdated and had a minimum of dishes and cutlery, so we had to wash the dishes everyday. Other than that it was OK.

Valley Isle resort is excellent.

Great place, Very Clean, Nice facility. Would definitely stay again. Was here for the Maui invitational basketball tourney.

Great stay!

We loved the views, we were so close to the ocean and saw turtles swimming right there out front! We never tried the pool. Check in and parking was simple. There was 2 keys provided which was nice, we kept one in the lock box in case we lost the one we were carrying around. We loved the proximity to everything around the town. Balcony was very nice. Functional bathroom and kitchen. We were unsure if there was a washer/dryer somewhere in the building but we didn’t want to have to do that anyway and wait for our clothes so we just hand washed some stuff in the tub. The lawn chairs provided came in handy. Only would recommend you leave a cooler for guest to borrow too at the beach :) We would come back 100% if we come back to Maui.

Great location, basic condo

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The location is amazing right between some great snorkeling spots. The view is absolutely incredible. The property is well maintained and pool is awesome. The condo itself is very bare bones. We tried to make a Digiorno Pizza one night and realized although there is an oven; there aren’t oven mitts, a baking sheet or even a pizza cutter. We felt as if everything was very dated and lacked many supplies usually found in a VRBO. Also the TV stopped working halfway through (which didn’t bother us too much).. It seemed to be being replaced as we checked out. Overall, worth the location.

Amazing views

The views from the lanai definitely do not disappoint. We saw turtles the whole time from our room. It was a great stay!

Great value/Beautiful view

The condo was cleaner than I expected from the reviews. The view was incredible, just like in the photos. We saw lots of whales. We ate out on the lanai most of the time and drank our coffee out there in the morning. The sound of the waves was heavenly. I imagine it would get stuffy in summer without air conditioning. There is a box fan to help with airflow. Really basic kitchen supplies. Only had salt, pepper, and Creole seasoning stocked in the kitchen. I left some olive oil and Basalmic vinegar behind in hopes it would help others. I think a cookie sheet would be a nice addition for the kitchen and I agree with another review that new lampshades would really perk the place up. I vacuumed the ceiling because there was lint hanging from it. It only took a few minutes. The vacuum is in the closet. It definitely made the place feel nicer once that was done. All in all, I thought it was a tremendous value. I wasn't looking for anything fancy though.

Lovely Stay

My sister and I stayed at this property while on Maui. We enjoyed our stay! Room was nice and clean. It was a little warm but with fans on and doors opened it cooled of nicely. Only Recommendation for housekeepers would be to dust the ceiling! Overall recommend this rental! We would stay again!! Beautiful view of the ocean!

bargain price for a reason

This place is well priced, but be aware of what you're getting. No pretense of luxury, (besides the lobby) old bare-bones building. No AC, they do provide fans, but it was a little hot for sleeping. Good if you're on a budget, but not if you want to splurge a little on vacation. A couple steps above youth hostel. Had what I needed, well stocked but with a funny hodgepodge of cheap stuff. That said, would rather stay here for 10 days then spend the same for one night in a super fancy resort.

Honeymoon part 1

A perfect start to our honeymoon, with a beautiful view of the ocean right from our patio! We even saw some turtles and a ray swimming right at the shore from our 8th floor patio! Would recommend this place for anyone!!

Whales for Breakfast!

We loved this place and would definitely stay again. First of all, there seems to be past concerns regarding lack of A/C. Being on the 8th floor, there was always a breeze to keep the condo comfortable. A screened entry door made it easy to get good airflow. Everything else about the condo was just as described online. We were there at the tail end of whale watching season and we could see lots of whales every day from the balcony while we ate our breakfast or lunch. The only suggestion is bring your binoculars! The waves were always soothing and put us right to sleep each night. Enjoy, Mahalo!

Didn’t want to leave

The condo couldn’t have a better view. Location is great! Close to the best beaches and easy driving to downtown Lahaina. There’s a little grocery store and coffee shop within walking distance. Miso Phat sushi was delicious. The bed is really comfy. The kitchen is a bit cramped but had everything we needed to cook some simple meals. The shower is tricky to use (the trick is to hold down the bath faucet head until it transfers to the shower head). Overall we would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing views, great comfort!

The room was clean and has everything you need to have an excellent relaxing stay. I can't imagine any other hotel having a better view and accessibility to the beach. The room has no AC but the fans and the ability to keep the doors open for the cool ocean breeze made up for it. The place is very quiet, no rowdy parties or anything of the like. Super relaxing and will book this location if available every time!

A HEAVENLY VIEW!!!

Waking up everyday and seeing this GORGEOUS view everyday is reason enough to book this place! I can't complain much about anything about this place except it could use a few updates. The kitchen for sure is a little outdated. The stove only had one working burner. The condo was located across the street from a convenience store which was helpful. Tons of beach choices within minutes! I would book this condo again for future visits!

Almost perfect

Nice unit for two people. Has everything you need. Beautiful ocean view. Only the shoreline with sandbags are not nice. You have to walk couple of steps to next beach zone, if you want to enjoy sandy beach and swimming.
