They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

It was quiet compared to the properties in the heart of Waikiki. The staff was super friendly.

We really enjoyed staying here. great spot for shopping and dining options and great for sightseeing before cruise

Have stayed here often over the years but not recently until this stay, the upgrades to rooms and AC are outstanding and the whole place has been upgraded. For those coming from afar there are THREE ABC stores a phenom in Hawaii, within a few hundred yards of the Hotel meaning you could come with nothing and up to 11pm we well equipped for your stay. Great location close to the beach. Great price for the area and quality. Wonderful breakfast each day. Only suggestion would be to work on the drainage for the AC units. The condensation drops from the above unit onto the unit in the room making a constant dripping noise. Great place overall.

Staff was great. Definitely pay the $40 for nightly parking on Sunday and Thursday nights so you don’t get towed on Ala Wai Blvd. Great room location was walkable. We payed a little more to have the executive suite and it was well worth it. We will definitely be back.

This hotel was perfect for our little stay. We specifically did not want to stay in Waikiki, and this was the perfect distance away. We could still walk to the Waikiki area, but felt like we were in a quite neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel room was a suite, and we were not expecting that. My ocean view room was the perfect stay for mine & my families visit to Waikīkī. We added the breakfast option which was perfect and saved us some coins as food in the area can get pricey. Loved the retro Hawaiian style of the hotel and friendly staff - great location on a quieter street, yet 5 mins walk to the International Market place and great restaurants.

Enjoyed our time here. We enjoyed that it was walking distance to many things however parking was very expensive.

The unit, we stay was amazing, clean and easy to parking . Near by the wakiki beach , near by zoo, near by market. I like this place. We will come back. Thanks for make us stay safe and been good time for summer.

I loved the staff and environment, I always go for a boutique style hotel to support the small businesses and I thought it was amazing. And a really good price also. To whoever is in these reviews saying they wanted it to be more resort like and BS like that should have booked at a resort if they wanted all the perks. I would just say everyone should stay here when going to Oahu because the staff where so excellent.

Great stay. Easy walk to the main strip of Waikiki. Parking is steal being free and only a short two blocks away. Staff is very nice, beds comfortable. Rooms clean. My 6 yo enjoyed the pool. I would stay here again anytime.

It is an old hotel, but all the facilities were clean and pleasant. The hotel swimming pool facilities were good, and Waikiki Beach was also visible from the accommodation. The best thing was the accessibility. It was convenient to walk to Waikiki Beach, close to the shopping center, and take a shuttle to cultural facilities nearby.

Wonderful little hidden gem of a hotel. Great place if you want to be slightly off the Main Street in Waikiki, but still a very close walk to everything in town including the beaches. The pool area is very nice. Staff were so friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I will definitely be back!

The beds we comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like that the bathroom had barely any counter space for my stuff and the only plug was on the far side of the toilet. Had to place my toothbrush on the toilet tank and hair dryer cord barely reached the mirror to see what your doing.

This is my new favorite hotel in Waikiki! If you’re looking for a smaller hotel that isn’t a big resort, this is a GREAT option! Newly renovated less than 2yrs ago so everything is new, it’s clean, the staff is amazing, the rooftop pool is nice and has good views, the Heavenly restaurant downstairs has AMAZING breakfast! … I can’t say enough good things about my stay here. I’ll be back next visit!

The location and ocean were nice. It was very quiet except for the sounds of the ocean and you didn't know if guests were next door or in the hall. The towels, yes the towels, were very absorbant and soaked up the water on your skin. Very clean. Excellent communication. Good value. Code didn’t work at check-in but resolved quickly over the phone. Views are very nice.
