We recently stayed at this hotel expecting a welcoming and relaxing experience, especially during our anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, several aspects fell short of even basic hospitality standards:
1. From check-in, the staff made no effort to make us feel welcome. There was no warmth or acknowledgment—just a transactional attitude.
2. The in-room amenities were subpar; for instance, the body wash appeared diluted with water, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
3. When we requested assistance with opening our beach umbrella, we were told it was “too windy.” However, other umbrellas on the beach were up and in use. The response felt dismissive.
4. At the Royal Scoop, the staff member was extremely rude. Her tone was unfriendly, and the coffee served was powdered and flavorless—not the quality we expected.
5. We informed the front desk in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet not a single acknowledgment or gesture was made on the day. A missed opportunity to show care for your guests.
6. Finally, the complimentary breakfast caused confusion. The host questioned whether it was included in our stay, making us feel uncomfortable as if we were trying to get something for free.
We had high hopes, but unfortunately, the lack of hospitality and attention to detail left us disappointed. We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests.
