We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very nice, and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of counter space. The shower had a rain-style head, which was a nice touch, though we had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use it at first.
The kitchenette was extremely well-stocked—it had everything we needed, including scissors, a bottle opener, wine opener, rice cooker, and decent knives. The coffee maker was a little tricky, but thankfully, clear instructions were provided in one of the drawers.
Beds were comfortable, and we slept well. Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room helped keep things cool. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning seemed to turn off at a certain time during the night, which made it a bit stuffy, but it wasn’t a big deal.
The pool area was clean and pleasant. Although the hotel asks guests not to reserve lounge chairs, some people still did. The waterslide looked fun, though we didn’t try it. We also didn’t use the beach chairs, but they seemed popular.
One thing to note—the towel policy was a little frustrating. On our first day, we left early for the Road to Hāna, and it seemed like the staff were reluctant to provide more towels than the number of towel cards issued. However, it didn’t end up being a major problem, especially around the pool.
Each floor only has one washer and dryer, so keep that in mind if you plan to do laundry
