Great Motel, modest priced older hotel that is being refurbished, service and friendly staff were excellent. Close to South Llano State Park. Excellent for Birders.

This has been my second time staying at Sun Valley Motel. The owners take great pride in keeping their property well-maintained and clean. They are also friendly and helpful with any requests. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean, with modern furnishings in the bathrooms. I stayed in June, and though I did not use the pool, another family seemed to really enjoy it. It is also right in the middle of town and close to everything. I highly recommend staying here.

Everything was clean. The updated bathroom was great. My only complaint was the mattresses needed replaced. However, for the price and for a single night, it was excellent and I will absolutely stay there again if I am in town.
